Description

The 2N2222 (specifically the plastic PN2222 or 2N2222A) is perhaps the most famous NPN transistor ever made. While the original 2N2222 came in a metal “can” (TO-18), the plastic version in the TO-92 package is the one you will find in almost every hobbyist kit and modern circuit board.
